The Generals

THE GENERALS is an abstract strategy game for two players that needs a square board, some pawns of four different colors and one dice. Each player controls seven "Soldier" pawns and a special pawn called "the General".

To win, a player needs to make a perfect square around the opponent's General to immobilize him or to play with luck and attack his opponent General with his own when both Generals are side by side by taking a role dice of number one (see below).

Remember that each dice role other than number one can not be played by a single pawn but by at least two including the General's move however the player wants as a sum of their movement. This movement can be horizontal or vertical but not diagonal.

The initial placement on either side of the board has "the General" protected by all his "Soldiers" as shown below.
